building an imaginary country

Over the weekend, I was watching Hamilton Musical with my girlfriend. I was thinking about what emotions and thoughts Hamilton was going through while building the USA as a founding father. So we decided, why don’t we actually build a country of our own.

We spent around 2–2.5 hours thinking through what would be foundational values, what kind of people we would attract, what would be our economic output, and more. We came up with Hiraeth. A place where I could envision living myself. Below is the full document, and you can download the PDF directly. It was fun. I think I would 100% recommend some world-building.
